Being an active player for 100 years forced ALER to meet all the urgent needs of the specific historical context and to respond with goodwill and intelligence in the interest of all the citizens. Nowadays, we are facing radical changes: society requires more dynamism and there is the need for more houses for temporary workers and students away from home. The present market is an obstacle for the young couples who intend to live together.
Finally, the traditional notion of family has changed, divorce and separation rates are growing, and, as a result, the number of divorced and separated people that are looking for a house is higher than before.
These are the future targets of our company, by collaborating extensively with different public and private actors, in order to achieve more in the social housing field. Social housing means to satisfy the demands of those who cannot afford a house at the market price, and at the same time, those who do not have a sufficiently high income to access public houses.
With the great projects of requalification and restoration, the company does not forget the tenants and it works for them to give a new shape to the outskirts in order to protect the dignity of the social houses tenants.
Hence, ALER is looking forward to the future paying particular attention to the residents' and other citizen's requests that will remain a priority of our company. We are not speaking about dreams. We are speaking about concrete projects that ALER will carry out building campuses and houses for students, low and fixed rent houses, houses for the elderly and implementing complex requalification programmes.
